Tuesday Pre-conference Only- Foodborne Illness Outbreak Exercise
Hosted by CDPHE and FDA, this preconference training is free. Thiis preconference will be from 9am-4pm. If you wish to attend the rest of the conference, do not select this option. This option only exists for those that want to attend this preconference and no other parts of the CEHA AEC.
Tuesday Pre-conference Only- Workforce Development and Leadership – $50.00
This pre-conference Workforce and Leadership workshop will be held on Tuesday, 10/10/2023 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM. If you wish to attend the rest of the conference, do not select this option. This option only exists for those that want to attend this preconference and no other parts of the CEHA AEC.

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

This event registration is for CEHA's Annual Education Conference, but may also be for separate preconference registrations. If you registered solely for the preconference, you will receive a separate email prior to the event with information about the preconference. Multiple tracks offer tailored education from multiple disciplines in EH, often by your peers! Preconferences will be on 10/10/2023, with the rest of the classes being from 10/11/2023-10/13/2023.

Location and Hotel

The conference will be located at the Ridgeline Hotel in Estes Park at 101 S St Vrain Ave, Estes Park, CO. The room block for the hotel is sold out.

There will be two preconference options on 10/10/2023. One will be a mock foodborne illness exercise, which will be the full day and will be free. The other option will be a workforce development training focusing on leadership skills, and this preconference will cost $50 for the full day.

Banquet Entertainment

After the Thursday banquet and awards, we will have a DJ spinning tunes and teeing up all your karaoke favorites (you know you have a few). Side karaoke events have been popular in the past; let’s keep it in house for all to enjoy. Team singing (2+) is encouraged to maximize involvement and reduce apprehension.

Unlike actual high school, this will be a judgment free zone and the goal is to simply have a good time and blow off some steam. The EH directors will even be singing as a group, you won’t want to miss it! Songs from your H.S. years are strongly encouraged.

We will also be having various table games and pseudo-sport activities throughout the banquet hall. Think Uno, Jenga, Cornhole, Kiddie bowling, etc. Not for the faint of heart, we may even have a Cards Against Humanity table. We hope to see you there!

Dress: garb similar in style to your high school days, or otherwise it’s conference casual.

Dress

There is no dress code for this conference, but most people wear business casual to everything except the banquet.
